Ingredients

Oatmeal

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 splash oat milk or any other plant milk you like
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

Toppings

  • raspberries
  • blueberries
  • mixed seeds
  • almonds slivered
  • dried cranberries
  • coconut shredded, dehydrated
  • mint leaves
  • maple syrup optional

Instructions

  • Add the rolled oats, water, and ground turmeric to a saucepan and heat until you reach a light simmer. Reduce to low.
  • Continue to simmer gently, stirring often for 6-10 minutes to achieve a creamy consistency.
  • Spoon into a bowl and splash with oat milk. Add any other toppings you would like from the suggestions above (or make up your own). Serve immediately.
